What are we looking for?

Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents within a Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves maintaining system security, managing security operations, and coordinating with other teams to ensure the integrity and protection of information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with different teams to integrate security best practices into systems and infrastructure.

• Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to security breaches.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments on systems and infrastructure, providing recommendations for remediation.

• Implement and maintain security measures, ensuring the continuous security of systems.

• Work closely with teams in the deployment and configuration of security tools and technologies.

• Investigate security incidents affecting systems and infrastructure, providing detailed reports on findings and recommendations.

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures in alignment with operational processes.

• Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery plans for systems and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with external vendors to enhance cybersecurity capabilities within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience working in cybersecurity or information security roles.

• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Experience with security assessment tools and technologies.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and convey security concepts.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS are preferred.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are required.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Can amend to work during the night shift, holidays, and weekends.

• Amenable to work in Tayabas, Quezon Province onsite.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php 70,000.00 per month
